Local Chapter of The Links, Incorporated Recognizes Katy Cares for Commitment to Help Single-Parent Families

The Katy-Richmond Area (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated awarded the Community Advocate Award to Katy Cares, Inc. for the work they do in the community to assist families with rebuilding their lives in time of need. In 2021, we began donating to this organization and had the pleasure of meeting Dawid.

“Dawid was so kind and truly took the time to explain the mission and values of Katy Cares with us,” said Tamika A. Johnson of The Links Katy-Richmond Chapter.

“Once we learned all of the work the organization does to help single-parent families, their children, and disadvantaged people in the community, we knew this was the place where we wanted to give back more. Watching how passionate and dedicated this organization is with helping single women is something we are excited to be on board.

The Katy-Richmond Area (TX) Chapter recognizes what Katy Cares does in helping women also helps grow future generations. As a woman’s organization, The Links seeks to honor this non-profit that is linked so closely to one of the segments of the community where we work. Seeing positive change in a community takes hard work and we look forward to building this continued partnership with Katy Cares for years to come. There’s more to do and together we can continue make an impact, one single family at a time.”
