Katy Cares is pleased to announce that Paul Cannon of Simmons and Fletcher, P.C. has joined the Board of Directors for Katy Cares.
Paul Cannon is a Partner at Simmons and Fletcher, P.C. and a board-certified Personal Injury Trial Lawyer by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Since earning his law degree in 1995, Paul has dedicated his career to advocating for individuals who have been seriously injured, helping clients rebuild their lives after difficult circumstances. His excellence in the courtroom has earned numerous recognitions, including being named a “Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters, a “Top Lawyer” by H Texas Magazine, and a “Top 100 Trial Lawyer” by the National Trial Lawyers Association. He is highly rated by both AVVO (10/10) and Martindale-Hubbell (AV Rating), reflecting his reputation for integrity, professionalism, and legal excellence.
Beyond his legal work, Paul is deeply committed to faith, service, and community impact. His passion for helping others has been expressed through years of mission and outreach work in the Houston area, including volunteer leadership with organizations serving the homeless, single mothers, and victims of human trafficking. He actively mentors young attorneys and students and was honored with the Outstanding Mentor Award by the Houston Young Lawyers Association. Paul also hosts the Meet Houston Missions vlog and podcast to highlight and support local ministries.
He currently serves on advisory boards for the Center for Christianity in Business at Houston Christian University, Katy Cares, and the Texas Christian Chamber of Commerce, where he contributes his experience and heart for service to help strengthen faith-driven leadership in the business community.
